The Department JROTC Program will recognize one Cadet as the State of Michigan VFW JROTC Cadet of the Year.  This selection shall be based on nominations received from VFW Posts or directly from JROTC Unit Representatives using the nomination criteria and form provided by National.

 

The State of Michigan VFW JROTC Cadet of the Year will be recognized at the VFW Department Convention and receive a citation with medal and will be awarded a $500 scholarship from the Department of Michigan.

 

The State of Michigan VFW JROTC Cadet of the Year will be nominated to National in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the VFW National JROTC Program.

 

Nominations must be received by either Department Headquarters or the Department Program Director not later than end of day April 10, 2024.  Nominations must be complete with all required information and documentation.
