Notice - Reports should be the 1st day of the month to the last day of the month. Example: 09/01/2007 - 09/30/2007...you will have until 10/10/2007 to have this report into department for credit. Only send in 1 HOSPITAL AND ACTIVITY report for the month. Do Not Send in Daily or Weekly reports ! ! !

The IRS has finally established a website (actually it looks like they outsourced it) to file your form 990-N ("E Postcard"). That is the online filing that small tax exempt organizations must make each year. Each Detachment paymaster and commandant should make sure that the e-postcard is filed. You will need the detachment's EIN or TIN (employer identification number/taxpayer identification number).

If your detachment normally has gross receipts of more than $25,000 you are not elgible for the e-postcard and must file form 990. The IRS website defines "normally less than $25,000" as follows:
