2007-2008 MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM
As we enter into the beginning of another membership year for the Department of Michigan and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, we are asking once again, that we all improve in our membership status. Membership is the VFW’s most valuable asset to our future. It is up to each and every Comrade in this Great Department to strive to improve this asset. I am asking for each Post, County Council and District Commander to “Reaffirm Our Commitment”. Together we can make our Great Department 100% in Membership once again.
This membership year all we are asking is for each member to go out and sign up one new or reinstated member. If we can do this we can double our membership and look to a brighter future for the Department of Michigan and for the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Your Michigan Membership team will be ready and able to assist you with forms, membership drives, bother setup and recruiting assistance. These are but a phone call away. “LET US HELP YOU”. Right now, stoke up that fire in the belly and go find our NEW COMRADES! Remember they can’t join if you don’t ask!
As your Membership Director for 2007-2008 year, I will do my best to see that all your requests for assistance will be met and followed through by the Department Membership Committee or myself.
This program will be adhered to in all categories. It shall be the State Commanders prerogative to make any changes or additions to the Membership program this administrative year.
